Vittorio FORTE was born in 1977 to Rossano Calabro ( Italy). His experience begins with José LEPORE and perfects thanks to the advices of great masters such as Dominique MERLET, François-René DUCHÂBLE, Mikhail PETHUKOV, Paul BADURA-SKODA, Edith MURANO, Gyorgy SANDOR and many of the others.

He obtains his diploma of piano to the institute " De Ribaupierre " of Lausanne with the congratulations of the jury in the class of Christian FAVRE.

At present Vittorio Forte pursues his studies  as "guest artist" within the famous "International Piano Academy Lake Como " chaired by Martha ARGERICH, where he participates in master classes of pianists and renown musicians such Andreas STAIER, Menahem PRESSLER, Leon FLEISHER, Graham JOHNSON, Fou TS'ONG and the others else.

In 1998 Vittorio Forte receives by the Foundation " Violetta Minkova " a diploma as "best pianist of the year" during a series of concerts in the most important towns of Bulgaria.

In 2000 in Toulon the " Dante Alighieri " society attributes him a reward for its musical career abroad.

Vittorio FORTE is prize-winner of several international piano competitions : "Camillo Togni" (Italy), "Città di Valentino" (Italy), AMA Calabria (Italy), "Verano musical de Zumaia competition " for piano and orchestra (Spain) ... 

Its talent is confirmed in 2007, at the time of  "Grand prix “VLADO PERLEMUTER” in France, where it obtains the "Chopin" special price amongst other things. 

He performs in concert as soloist and with orchestras (Caen Orchestra, Chamber orchestra of Lausanne, Orchestra " Mihail Jora " of Bacau-Romania, Orchestra of the Festival of Zumaia-Spain)  in several cities of Europe: Geneva, Lausanne, Delémont, Zurich, Paris, Toulon, Marseille, Namur, Bilbao, Sofia, Rome, Naples, Pistoia, Brescia etc. …

In 2008, Vittorio FORTE  recorded a compact disc devoted to most beautiful works of the Italian composer Muzio CLEMENTI, with the collaboration of Rene GAMBINI, director and founder of the Lyrinx label, which signed several productions with great names of the classical music such Laurent Korcia, Muza Rubackyte, Catherine Collard, Philippe Bianconi and many others...

After many radio programs in France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Canada, this recording obtained a lot of prizes (4 **** Classica, 5 Diapasons, Golden Opus, Cd-Tipp) with excellent critics.

In 2009, V. FORTE played with the Orchestra "Les musiciens d'Europe" the Chopin second concerto near Paris.

In the same year he performed in various recitals in Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland...

In 2010, he recorded a new cd devoted to R. Schumann  for Lyrinx and also celebrating 200th anniversary of Chopin birth with many concerts (two concertos with "Sinfonietta Orchestra", The complete waltzes).

He also gives very appreciated musical conferences on musicals questions as: the correspondence of the romantic composers, the creation  of the Hungarian Dances of Brahms, or still on the life and the work of Mozart.

At the same time as the activity of concert performer, Vittorio Forte is the founder with Inès Maleviolles of the " Musical Center Intermezzo " , musical institute located on the edges of the Leman Lake, which organizes musicals activities in this beautiful place, as , for example the season " The Concerts of Intermezzo " with famous young artists as Cédric PESCIA, Michelangelo CARBONARA, Roberto PLANO etc....
